The STA214567 Aviation Snips are forged chrome-molybdenum compound-action snips for cutting in curves to the left through sheet steel, aluminium, copper, uPVC, wire mesh, and leather. Offset jaw angles the handles away from the work surface, reducing knuckle contact when cutting close to a surface. Serrated cutting edges grip the material and prevent slippage during cutting, and the compound cutting action reduces the hand force required. A one-handed automatic latch releases with the squeeze of the handles for quick, single-handed operation. Bi-material cushion grip handles are colour-coded for easy identification, cuts curves to the left.
