The STA058120 Centre Punch is a 3.2mm (1/8in) hardened and tempered alloy steel punch for marking precise centre points in metal and other surfaces before drilling, to prevent drill bit wander at the start of a hole. The knurled body provides a secure grip during striking, and the square/hexagonal head prevents the punch from rolling when set down on a workbench. A black oxide coating protects against rust. Induction heat-treated for safety and improved performance.
