The SP1.1-90-4 self-power synchronous motor is a 1.1kW 4-pole hybrid motor running at 1440 RPM on a 230/400V supply in a 90S frame. After an asynchronous start it synchronises with the supply frequency and holds constant speed under varying load without an encoder, giving IE4 efficiency, lower running temperature and a smaller frame than an equivalent asynchronous motor.
